"Are you okay with those boots, Jo?"
"The boots are fine, it's these fucking extensions. Are you sure they look right?"
"Yes, they're fine! Now try and look nice, I'm going to take some pictures..."
Joseph struck a pose for Aubrey, trying not to look too awkward in the ridiculously high heels he was wearing. He felt his legs going number from the tightness of the latex leggings he had squeezed himself into, and his feet ached from the boots being a few sizes too small for him. But this was the price he had to pay to meet his idol.
Joseph's first Gracing experience had gone well and most people were convinced he was a natural female, something he made sure to correct them on. As his first night imitating his idol came to an end, someone passed him a card as he left the club. It was advertising a photography competition and the details on how to enter. Jo nearly threw it away, when he noticed that the first prize was a chance to meet Grace Mannequin.
Showing the card to Aubrey, the two of them set about producing the best photoset they could, hoping to meet their favourite model. As Aubrey clicked away with her camera, Jo hoped standing under this bridge, freezing cold and in extreme agony, would be worth it. Evey time he felt the numbness set in, he reminded himself of how much he envied Grace.
"We have to win," he mumbled, "No matter the cost..."
